- Parle Agro (2500 crore company) will invest Rs 70 crore (Branding & distribution in rural markets) and Rs 80 crore (towards advertising)……overall investment Rs 150 crore
- Aims to expand its sales force by 20%; reach 1 million outlets by this year and expects 25% growth in overall sales in 2016-17.
- Frooti accounts for more than 50% of total sale of the company.
- Last year after rebranding, Frooti saw double digit growth as against 1% in mango-based beverage category, with PET bottle segment is seeing fastest growth
- Massive scale-up for Appy and Appy Fizz with significant investments has been planned this year
